William Oscar "Bill" Brantley, Jr.

Services will be held Thursday, March 8, 2018, at 3:00 P.M. from McClain-Hays Chapel. Visitation will be on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until time of service at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Interment will be in Cooks Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Brantley, 63, of Philadelphia, died Monday, March 5, 2018, at his residence. A native of Neshoba County, he graduated from high school in Meridian and joined the Marine Corps shortly thereafter. He served 12 years in the Marines, including the Vietnam Era. After military service he worked for FAA in Radar/Aircraft Communications. Survivors include daughters, Stacey Brantley of Philadelphia and Christy Brantley (Creighton) of North Carolina; son, Scott Brantley (Renee’) of Kosciusko; grandchildren, Gunter and Holden Brantley; brother, Doug Brantley of Natchez, MS; nephew, Taylor Brantley; and niece, Cassie Brantley. Mr. Brantley was preceded in death by parents, Bobby and Dot Brantley; and brother, Ricky Brantley.
