William "Josh" Mcgee

Funeral services for William "Josh" McGee will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. Mark Gill officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at McClain-Hays. Interment will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery at House. William “Josh” McGee, 23, Of Union died Monday, July 15,2024. Josh was born in Lauderdale County, MS to Daniel and Miranda McGee, but raised in Neshoba County. He attended Union public school. He was employed with Central MS. Land and Timber/ McKee Construction for three years, and work was his passion. Josh loved hunting, fishing and, gaming. He loved his pets, and spending time with his daughter and fiancé. Mr. McGee attended Free Trade Church of God. Josh will be missed by his numerous friends and family whom he loved dearly. Survivors include fiancé, Taylor Muffler of Union, MS; daughter, Fallon McGee; parents, Miranda and Daniel McGee, Union, MS; sister, Taylor Brooke McGee (Caleb), Union, MS; brother, Bradley Muffler, Union, MS; aunt, Kimberly Winters (Larry), Noxapater, MS; aunt, Renee Parker, Union, MS; uncles, Jerome Parker (Jennifer) and Bobby Parker (Amanda); great uncle, Keith McGee (Rhonda), and soon to be arriving baby Willis. Josh was preceded in death by his grandparents, Portia and Billy Parker, and Teddy and Brenda McGee; great grandparents, Billy and Nita McGee; uncle, Dewayne Parker; and aunt, Susie Parker. Pallbearers, Todd McKee, Charles Jones, Casey Parker, Caleb McKee, Patrick Adams, Jay Dillmore, Michael Stepp and Earl McDaniel.
