DAN HOWARD Mr. Nowell, 75, of Philadelphia, died Friday, October 29, 2010 at The University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.   He was born and reared in Neshoba County and made his home in Pelahatchie and Magee most of his adult life.  He had been a resident of Philadelphia for the past 12 years.  Mr. Nowell was a member of First Baptist Church in Philadelphia.  He had served as alderman for the City of Pelahatchie and had been plant manager for a poultry company in Collins.   Survivors include his wife, Brenda G. Nowell of Philadelphia; daughter, Patty Kettleman and her husband, Gary of Richland; son, Mark Nowell and his wife, Memory of Saltillo; step-daughters, Valerie McNeil and her husband, Kevin of Spring, TX, and Tammy Willis and her husband, Brian of Philadelphia; step-son, Dustin Cumberland and his wife, Summer of Philadelphia; granddaughters, Allison Morea, Hanna Ray, Hailey Nowell, Kiri Parson, Mollie Cornelius, Briana Orejel, Abby McNeil, Emalee Willis, Maggie Cumberland, and Raeleigh Cumberland; grandsons, Shayne McNeil, Riley McNeil, Corey Willis, and Caleb Willis; great-grandchildren, Taylor Morea, Caleb Morea, Hayden Ray, Ross Parson, and Natalie Orejel; sister, Martha Duvall and her husband, Rev. Dennis of Collinsville; and brother, Billie Nowell and his wife, Jean of Philadelphia.
