She was a native of the County Line community of Neshoba County and retired from Wells-Lamont in Philadelphia. Mrs. Pierce was a member of Beacon Street Baptist Church and an avid quilter. Survivors include her daughters, Nanette Young of Muskegon, MI, and Glenda Richardson and her husband, Harold of Philadelphia, MS; grandchildren, Stephanie Moses and her husband, Fred of Muskegon, MI, and Rozane Fulton and her husband, Rob of Philadelphia; great-grandchildren, Hayden Moses and his wife, Erica of Holland, MI, Haley Moses of Muskegon, MI, and Sarah Alice, Annie, Tripp and Lilly Ruth Fulton of Philadelphia, MS; great-great grandchildren, Sophia Moses of Muskegon, MI, Paislee Moses and Grayson Moses of Holland, MI; sister, Frances Saxton of Portland, OR; brother, Prentiss Savell and his wife, Thelma of Pensacola, FL. Mrs. Pierce was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Pierce; parents, Alvin and Priscilla Savell; son-in-law Duaine Young; sisters, Patty Thorne, Polly Nation and Jeanette Ridout; brothers, Darwell Savell, Dick Savell and Wayne Savell. Pallbearers were Glen Pierce, Kenny Pierce, Robert Savell, Jim Savell, Bryon Whitley, Ross Cheatham, Mack Jones and Raymond Bradley.
