DAN HOWARDMrs. Murphy, 85, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, February 14, 2016, at Atwood Personal Care Home. She was a native of Neshoba County and longtime resident of the Arlington community.  Mrs. Murphy was a member of First Baptist Church in Philadelphia where she was a member of the B.A.L.L. group. She was an avid gardener. Survivors include her daughter, Aletha Johnston of Philadelphia; son, Alan Murphy of Philadelphia; grandchildren, David Creekmore, Chrystal McKinney, Laurie Winstead, Emily Edwards, Bruce Smith, Anna Beckham, Sam Murphy, Brooks Gist, Brittany Murphy, Briana Moore and Tyler Nesbit; and a host of great-grandchildren. Mrs. Murphy was preceded in death by her husband, Clearmon Murphy; daughter, Faye Rendleman; infant daughter, Johnnie Hope Eubanks; sister, Audrey Nowell; and brother, Richard Willis.Pallbearers were Charles Ponder, Todd Loper, Heath Stribling, Caleb Creekmore, Lonnie Burrow, Sam Murphy, Larry McKinney and Jimmy Nowell.  Honorary pallbearers were D. J. Creekmore, Keith Nowell and Bruce Smith.
