DAN HOWARD Jeffie Jackson left this earth for his Heavenly home on August 12, 2014 at Neshoba County General Hospital after a brief illness.  He was one of twelve children born in the North Bend Community of Neshoba County to William (Will) Jefferson and Mary (Mae) Evelyn Fulton Jackson. Mr. Jackson was a World War II Veteran, one of seven brothers who served his country.  He was a member of American Legion Post #138 and was also a Master Mason of Coffadeliah Masonic Lodge #371 in Philadelphia. Mr. Jackson was employed by several car dealerships in the area and retired after numerous years with Tolbert Chevrolet as parts manager in the service department. A dedicated member of Spring Creek Baptist Church, Mr. Jackson served in various capacities including Deacon and church treasurer.He is survived by his daughter, June Nowell (Sam) and sons, Larry Jackson and Greg Jackson all of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Ty Nowell (Paige) of Newnan, Georgia and Meredith Boston (Christopher) of Brandon; great-grandchildren, Keelan, Kiera, Klaityn and Colden Boston, Tucker and Katie Jo Nowell; brothers, O.D. (Dill) Jackson, Fulton Jackson, Windell Jackson and Howard Jackson; sisters, Doris Boggan and Mary Nance; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Blount Jackson; brothers, C.O. (O’Neil) Jackson, Lawson Jackson, Garland Jackson and James Clark Jackson; and sister, Marie Smith. We wish to express our sincere appreciation to the staffs of Sta-Home Health Agency, BeeHive Homes, Neshoba General Hospital and Quality Hospice Care for the compassionate care they provided our loved one “Mr. Jeffie” and for the concern and comfort shown our family.Pallbearers were Joey Blount, Mike Jones, Bobby Jackson, Willie Jackson, Joey Jackson and Steve Nance.
