JAY CLARK Mrs. Kathy Flint Lahr, 60, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Tupelo, MS and moved to Neshoba County in 1968. She graduated from Philadelphia High School and then received her BS degree from Mississippi University for Women. She moved to Houston, TX and began her career as a drafter working for the oil industry, where she met her future husband. Her career took her to California and then to Colorado where she married in 1983. In 1984 she and her husband moved back to Neshoba County. Mrs. Lahr was a member of North Calvary Baptist Church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Philadelphia Chapter No. 91, the Daughters of the American Revolution and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was preceded in death by her parents, L.L. (Rouster) and Christie Flint. Survivors include her husband, Mike Lahr of Philadelphia; daughter, Chelsea Lee Lahr of Madison; son, Brandon Kyle Lahr of Philadelphia; brother, Danny Flint and his wife, Gay of Philadelphia; and her aunt, Pat Mioton of Philadelphia.Pallbearers were Brandon Lahr, Stan Scrivner, Ryan Catledge, Casey Page, Zane Gordon and Bubba Norris.
