Willis L. Cumberland

Funeral services for Willis L. Cumberland will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 1 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. David Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Herbert Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 12 noon until service time at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Mr. Cumberland, 76, of Union died November 22, 2023. Willis was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County. He worked as a supervisor for Richton Tire & Timber for several years until he retired. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, selling produce and tending to his cows. Survivors include wife of 54 years, Nancy Cumberland of Union; sons, Randy and Steve Cumberland both of Union; daughter, Vickey Cutrer (Phillip) of Chesterfield, VA; grandchildren, Blake Cumberland, Brandon Cutrer, Ethan Cumberland, Mason Cumberland and Chandler Tolbert; sister, Marlene Ellingburg of Philadelphia; brother, Willis J. Cumberland of Philadelphia; a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Cumberland was preceded in death by parents, Bud and Julie Cumberland; brothers, Leroy, Cliff, Carl, Joe, Raymond and Earl Cumberland; sister, Arlene Page. Pallbearers are Danny Skinner, Mike Skinner, Dr. Glenn May, Tim McDaniel, Mason Cumberland and Blake Cumberland.
