Willie Ross Deweese

Services for Mrs. Willie Ross Deweese will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. from Spring Creek Baptist Church in Neshoba County with Rev. Josh Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Deweese, 95, died Monday, March 16, 2020, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora, MS. She was a native of Forestdale Community of Neshoba County and a longtime resident of Spring Creek Community. She retired from Neshoba Central High School as a school teacher. Mrs. Deweese was a dedicated member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Robert Cox Deweese (Sherry) of Eupora; grandchildren, Stacey Fiser of Oxford, Brent Deweese of Starkville, and Michael Chandler of Mantee; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Ann Cobb of Wiggins and Sue Posey of Richton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and their families. Mrs. Deweese was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Deweese; parents, Orman and Hilda Cox; sisters, Shirley Weatherford and Carolyn Chapman; and brothers, Cliff and Robert Cox.
