Willie Jo Mccarty

Graveside services for Willie Jo McCarty with be held Friday, May 15, 2020 at 11 am from Sand Hill Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Goff officiating. McClain-Hays is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. McCarty, 88, died Monday, May 11, 2020 in Brandon MS. She was a native of Neshoba County and a longtime resident of Rankin County. Mrs. McCarty was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Pearl, MS. Survivors include her daughters, Donna Smith of Southhaven, MS and Vicky Varnell of Pasadena, TX; partner, Shelton Gibson of Richland, MS; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mrs. McCarty was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Cora Durham; two daughters, Diane Smith and LaWanda Varnell; four brothers.
