Services for William C. “Billy” Harris will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018, at 1 p.m. from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Joseph Knight officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Harris, 88, of Collinsville, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at Laird Hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County. He was a retired brick mason. He served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War. Mr. Harris was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Lanice Harris of Collinsville; daughters, Teresa Allbrook and Glenda Harris, both of Collinsville; sons, Stan Harris (Carolyn) and Jimmy Harris (Linda), all of Collinsville; grandchildren, Shawn Harris, Seth Harris, Korey Harris, Kyle Webb, Tracy Allbrook, Jessica Harri, Hayleigh Harris and Kaden Neal; great-grandchildren, Ethan Moore, Ava Harris, Elias Harris, Hunter Harris, Liam Harris, Regan Harris, Preston Harris, Hanna Harris, Elizabeth Harris and Piper Harris; sister, Lexie Ruth Harris of Brandon; brothers, Donald “Joe” Harris and Mickey Harris, both of Union, Pedo Harris of Kentucky; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Harris was preceded in death by parents; sister, Janette Dean; brothers, Robert Harris and Harvey Harris.
