William "Pat" Goforth

Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 2-5 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in the House Community. Mr. Goforth, 86, of Union, MS, died February 2, 2022. Pat was a native of Neshoba County and lived in the House Community his whole life. He was a heavy equipment operator and hauled pulpwood. He lived to take care of his family and garden. Mr. Goforth was of the Christian Faith. He is survived by his wife, Ethel “Lonnie” Goforth of Union; daughter, Cheryl “Sherry” Burnside (Red Woodard) of Union; son, Johnny Goforth (Jeri James) of Union; grandchildren, Amanda Ray (Charles Nicklos) of Union; Paige Seward (Tyler) of Union; Zack Goforth (Krystle) of Philadelphia; Alex Goforth (Hannah) of Collinsville; eight great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and their families. Mr. Goforth was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Onie Goforth; two sisters; five brothers.
