Wilda Rigdon

Funeral services for Wilda Rigdon will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. from Antioch Baptist Church with Dr. J. R. Eaton, Rev. James Young, and Rev. Joel Embrey officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, March 7, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Mrs. Rigdon, 77, of Little Rock, died Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Hilltop Manor in Union. A native of the Duffy Community of Newton County, she lived in Neshoba County for most of her adult life. She worked as a CNA for 35 years until retirement. She enjoyed taking road trips and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Rigdon was an active member of Antioch Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Ray Rigdon of Little Rock; daughter, Tawanna Holmes of Philadelphia; sons, Tommy Rigdon (Teresa) of Collinsville, Virgil Rigdon of Little Rock; seven grandchildren, Zachery Rigdon, Corey Rigdon (Lindsey), Jacob Norris (Madison), Caleb Gambill, Sam Gambill, Kristen Hayes (Mike), Brandi Gambill; five great-grandchildren, Olivia Hayes, Gunner and Rider Rigdon, Hadley and Wyatt Norris; sisters, Debbie Messer (Danny) and Syretha McCall, both of Umatilla, FL; brothers, Kenneth Alexander of Umatilla, FL, and Carleton Alexander of Indiana; and a host of nieces and nephews. Preceding Mrs. Rigdon in death were grandson, Nolan Norris; parents, Ozell and Mary Alexander; sister, Ramona Alexander; brothers, J. B. Alexander, James Alexander, and Terry Alexander. Pallbearers are Chuck Butler, David Butler, Dewayne Butler, Mike Miller, Stanley Covington, Robert Covington, and Jimmy Rigdon.
