Wallace "Skip" Skipper

Services for Wallace Skipper will be held on Friday March 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from Antioch Baptist Church with Bro. Ray Spence officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday March 22, 2024 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Skipper passed away Monday March 18, 2024 at Merit Health River Oaks in Flowood, Ms. Wallace "Skip" was born in Meridian, Ms., but had lived in the House community of Neshoba County his entire life. He attended Neshoba Central Schools. Skip spent many years as dairy manger at Sac-n-Save, he was also employed for a number of years at Sisson Trucking. He loved wrestling and fishing. He spent many Monday and Friday night's watching wrestling with his grandson Jon. He dearly loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Wallace "Skip" was a long time member of Antioch Baptist Church. He is survived by a daughter, Amy Sartin (Sean) of Jayess; mother, Joella Skipper of Union; sister, Mary Fields of Philadelphia; grandchildren; J.T. Tucker, John Ellis Anthony, Hope Tucker, Hunter Anthony, Emilio Suarez, Jon Pass, Jordan Yates and Alex Sartin; 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and their families. Mr. Skipper was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Anthony, his wife, Mary Beth Skipper and father, Ira Skipper. Pallbearers with be Sean Sartin, Jon Pass, Matt Rigdon, Tony Rigdon, Daniel Burns and John Ellis Anthony. Honorary Pallbearers will be Emilio Suarez and Carson Rigdon.
