Funeral services for Wade Bobo will be held Monday, January 17, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Dennis Duvall and Rev. David Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Hope Cemetery in Neshoba County. Visitation will be held Monday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Bobo, 74, of Philadelphia, died Friday, January 14, 2022, at his home. He was a native and longtime resident of the Hope Community in Neshoba County. He worked in the garment industry as an equipment sales representative. Mr. Bobo was a member and a deacon of Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Susan Joyner Bobo of Philadelphia; children, Mark Bobo, Kandi Bobo, Tammy Whittle, all of Philadelphia, MS, Scott Johnson of Greenwood, FL, Hal Posey of Oxford, MS, Kristi Deleon of Panama City, FL; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Jeanette Bobo McNeil and brother, Bennie Hurtt, both of Philadelphia; several nieces, nephews, and their families. Preceding Mr. Bobo in death were his infant daughter, Lisa Renee Bobo; wife, Brenda Shaw Bobo; Great-grandson, Colton Wade Pierce; parents, Olin and Eunice Bobo; sisters, Bobbie Jean Hardy and Doris May Bobo. Pallbearers are Kevin McNeil, Bryan Tyler Johnson, Jonathon Osborne, Pender Johnson, Brandon Pierce, and Jeremy Files. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Shriners Hospital for Children, or a favorite charity.
