Virginia Ann Cox Jackson

Funeral services for Virginia Ann Cox Jackson will be held Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Gomillion officiating. Burial will be follow in North Bend Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Jackson, 61, of Philadelphia , died Saturday, March 20,2021. She was a native of Neshoba County and a longtime resident of North Bend Community. She was a retired poultry farmer and was currently employed by the Neshoba County School District where she worked in the elementary cafeteria and as a bus driver. Virginia loved to sew and quilt; and she was always eager to volunteer her time and service to her community and church. She dearly loved her grandchildren. Mrs. Jackson was an active member of North Bend Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband Bobby Jackson of Philadelphia; daughter, Ashley Jackson Eakes (Jay) of Philadelphia; sons, Joshua Jackson (Paige) of Philadelphia; Stevie Richardson (Ann) of Philadelphia; grandchildren; Marley Jay Eakes, Briggs Eakes, Posey Jackson, Paxtyn Jackson, Loganne Jackson, Tyler and Eli Richardson; mother, Elmarieen Cox of Philadelphia; brother, Jimmy Cox (Nancy) of Philadelphia; several nieces, nephews, and their families. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her father, Robert Cox; brother, Robert Orman Cox.
