Services for Mr. Tony Sharp will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, September 19, 2022 at McClain-Hays Chapel. Interment will be held in Spring Hill Cemetery. Bro. Dennis Duvall, Bro. Eric Sharp and Bro. George Terry Sciple will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 pm, Sunday, September 18, 2022 at McClain-Hays Chapel. Mr. Tony Sharp, 65, of Philadelphia died on, Friday, September 16, 2022 at his home. Mr. Tony was born and raised in Neshoba County. He attended Neshoba Central and graduated in 1975. He was employed for 24 years as a firefighter, EMT and Arson Investigator for the City of Philadelphia, Towne Craft Cookware representative for 19 years, owner of Fire House BBQ for 19 years. He loved to cook, cut grass, entertain and be the Boss. He was a Shriner and Mason. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He will also be missed by his longtime companion Duke. He is survived by his wife, Vickie Sharp of Philadelphia; sons, Eric Sharp (Amanda) of Philadelphia, Jason Sharp (Anna Marie) of Preston, and Corey Sharp of Carson City, Nevada; grandchildren, Eli Sharp, Evan Sharp, Wyatt Sharp and Lane Sharp ; nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. He is preceded in death by his parents, Devon and Nellie Joyce Sharp. Pallbearers will be Kenny McLain, George Terry Sciple, Tim Moore, Eddie Talbert, Michael Ted Evans, Billy Singleton, Pierce Clark and Joseph Allen. Honorary Pallbearers will be all current and past City of Philadelphia Firefighters and grandsons, Eli Sharp, Evan Sharp, Wyatt Sharp and Lane Sharp. In lieu of flowers family requests all memorials be made to Grace Baptist Church child ministries.
