Services for Tommy Wren will be held Thursday, September 20, 2018,at 11 a.m. from The Sanctuary Church . Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home and one hour prior to service at The Sanctuary Church . Mr. Wren, 88, of Union, died September 17, 2018. He was a native of Canton, Ms and a longtime resident of Burnside Community of Neshoba County. He served in the United States Army in Korea and retired from the Mississippi Army National Guard. He worked as the first County Administrator for Neshoba County and later was a caretaker for The Marty Stuart properties in the Arlington Community. Mr. Wren attended The Sanctuary Church of Philadelphia. Survivors include sons, Ricky Wren (Susan) of Philadelphia, Aubrey Wren (Debbie) of Ridgeland, and Tommy Wren, Jr. (Debbie) of Raymond; step-sons, Greg Duett of Philadelphia, Steve Duett (Geraldine) of Sebastopol and Stuart Duett (Kay) of Philadelphia; numerous grand and great-grandchildren; sister, Elaina Holloway of Byrum; several nieces, nephews and their families. Mr. Wren was preceded in death by his wives, Martha Gurley Wren and Wauldine Stuart Duett Wren; brothers, Barry and Victor Wren; step-son, George Hays Duett.Pallbearers are Johnny Stuart, McKay Morrow, Lonnie Beason, Sid Williams, Mike Smith and Ty Duett.Honorary pallbearer Ray Warren.
