Sylvia Posey Wiggs

Services for Sylvia Posey Wiggs will be held Thursday, July 19, 2018, at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Dr. Dan Howard and Rev. Lin Chesney officiating.  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in the House Community.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2018, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Wiggs, 79, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, July 17, 2018. She was a native of the House Community of Neshoba County and longtime resident of Philadelphia. She had worked at Wells Cabinet Works, Deemer Wood Products and Hooper Hardware.  She served on the Neshoba County Fair Board and was very active in the Fair art exhibits.  She was a former D.R.E.A.M. member. Mrs. Wiggs was a member of First Baptist Church of Philadelphia.  Survivors include son, Jay Wiggs of House; daughter-in-law, Theresa Wiggs of House; and grandson, Jacob (Chesney) Wiggs of House. Mrs. Wiggs was preceded in death by husband, Harry J. (Bud) Wiggs; parents, George and Ora Posey; sister, Kay Hollimon; and brother, Nicky Posey.
