Sue Burkes

Graveside service for Sue Burkes will be held Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 1p.m. at Eastlawn Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Duvall officiating. Mrs. Burkes, 89, of Mandeville, LA, died Saturday, February 5, 2022. She was a native of Neshoba County and longtime resident of Jackson and Brandon, MS. Mrs. Burkes was Baptist by faith and formerly attended Old Pearl Valley. Survivors include her daughter, Alane Hudson (Roy) of Mandeville, LA; grandchildren, Sean Hudson (Laurin) and Allyn Hudson; great-grandchild, McKenzie Hudson; sisters, Louise Thompson of Orlando, FL and Annie White of Brandon, MS; several nieces, nephews and their families. Mrs. Burkes was preceded in death by her husband, Wausie Burkes; daughter, Carol Ann Burkes; parents, Lee and Geneva Burchfield.
