Steve Fowler

Services for Steve Fowler will be held Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Mack Alford officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until time of service. Mr. Fowler, 78, of Brandon, died Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at his home. A native of Laurel, MS, he lived in Philadelphia from 1980 until 2018, where he was owner/operator of Reliable Insurance Company. He was a resident of Brandon since 2018. Mr. Fowler was a member of Henry’s Chapel Church. Survivors include his son, Shane Fowler (Isley) of Brandon, MS; stepson, Eddie Gilmer of Rose Hill, MS; stepdaughter, Sheila Madison (Jack) of Philadelphia, MS; grandchildren, Ruby Fowler, Matthew Fowler, Nick Phillips, Caitlyn Fowler; great-grandchildren, Warren Mislang, Grayson Brown; sisters, Mary Waltman (Frank) of Houston, TX, Sylvia Wicker (Russ) of Austin, TX; and a host of nieces and nephews. Preceding Mr. Fowler in death were his wife, Peggy Fowler; son, Scott Fowler; parents, Inman O. and Anita Hardin Fowler.
