Graveside Urn Interment to be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. from New Bethel Cemetery with Bro. Curt Pace officiating. Mr. Smith 89,of Ridgeland, MS died Thursday, July 11, 2024. Stanley was Born in New Orleans, LA and raised in Philadelphia, MS. He was a Seaman with the United States Coast Guard. His love for working on cars lead him to becoming a mechanic by trade. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Inez Donald Smith; daughters, Tempie Smith (Randy Smith) of Clarksville, TN, Angie (Dr. Harry Dowdy) of Madison, MS; Son’s, Donald Smith of Jackson, MS and David Smith DVM of Arlington, VA. 9 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchild; Sister-in-law Linda Thompson of Brandon, MS; 2 Nieces and 3 Nephews Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his Mother, Hester Mae Smith and Adopted Mother, Mary Louise Grafton; Brother, James Smith; Sister-in-law Janel Smith; In-laws Eddie Lee and Maxine Donald, Janie L and Jimmie Roland; Niece Lisa M Salers.
