Funeral services for Stan Webb will be held Monday, July 3, 2023 at 1 p.m. from East Philadelphia Baptist Church with Rev. Dwight Faulkenberry and Rev. Jeff Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 2, 2023 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Mr. Webb, 65, of Philadelphia died Thursday, June 29, 2023 at UMMC in Jackson, MS. Stan was native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County. He was born on April 18, 1958 and was a graduate of Philadelphia High School class of 1976. He was employed at Weyerhaeuser for 43 years and served as the plant manager the last 18 years. Mr. Webb was a longtime member of East Philadelphia Baptist Church. He was the past president of the Mississippi Lumber Manufacture Association and the Neshoba County Forestry Association. He served on the board of the Mississippi Forestry Association and the Mississippi Manufacture Association. He was an avid golfer and longtime member of the Philadelphia Country Club. He loved boating, the beach, the pool and attending his grandchildren’s events. Survivors include his mother, Peggy Webb (Maw); his wife of 46 years, Debbie Bates Webb; sons, Justin and his wife Mandy Webb, Dr. Chris Webb and his wife Emily, and Kade and his wife Dr. Meghan Webb; grandchildren, Conner Webb, Cameron Webb, Brayden Webb, Bennett Webb, Sutton Webb, JonAnder Webb, Lawson Webb and soon to be, Lainy Webb (Meghan is due August 1); brothers, Randy Webb (Susan) and Dean Webb; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Webb is preceded in death by his father, Don Webb. Pallbearers are Curtis Moore, Kent Moore, Ike Martin, Rudy Posey, Mike Tinsley, Rodney Kelly, Jeff Lee and Doug Bates.
