Graveside services for Mrs. Sissy McKee will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, July 15, 2022 at Big Oak United Methodist Church with Bro. Davey Wilkinson officiating. Mrs. Sissy McKee, 61, of Kemper died on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at her residence. Sissy McKee was raised in Wahalak, but spent the last 32 years residing in the Damascus Community with her husband Marty McKee. She worked a total of 20 years for Mississippi Care Center of DeKalb; however, her favorite job was being a MeMe to her 5 grandchildren. In 2018, she retired to take care of her grandchildren. She could always be found at dance competitions, baseball tournaments, and inventing new yard projects with her husband. She was happiest when taking care of her grandbabies and 3 daughters. She loved doing whatever she could to make their lives easier. She is survived by her husband, Marty McKee of Dekalb; daughters, Hailey Johnson (Matt) of Dekalb, Taylor Allen (Johnny) of Scooba, Maggie Hall (Hunter) of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Halie Mabry, Hayz, Kyzer Johnson, Henson and Carson Hall; sister, Debra Kay Sciple of Wahalak; brothers, Bud Hailey (Lynn) of Wahalak, Butch Hailey (Mandy) of Wahalak, mother, Jean Hailey of Wahalak; several nieces, nephews and their families. She is preceded in death by her father, Mabron Ray Hailey.
