Services for Shirley Belk will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Clay Winstead officiating. Burial will follow in Coldwater Cemetery in Neshoba County. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11 a. m. until time of service. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Belk, 86, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, October 27, 2019. She was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County. She worked several years at Wells-Lamont Glove Factory in Philadelphia. Mrs. Belk was a member of Coldwater Baptist Church in Neshoba County. Survivors include daughter, Judy Griffin; son, Scott Belk (Donna), both of Philadelphia; three grandchildren, Wendy Long, Jeffrey Griffin, Jamie Griffin; three great-grandchildren, Skyler Long, Chloe Griffin, Landon Griffin; beloved dogs, Winnie B. and Lady; several nieces, nephews and their families. Mrs. Belk was preceded in death by husband, X L Belk; brother, Toris Guthrie; and son-in-law, Coy Griffin. Pallbearers are Jamie Griffin, Jeff Long, Mitchel Belk, Freddie Belk, Billy Thaggard and Edward James.
