Funeral services for Shane Hamilton will be held Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 2:30 from Linwood Baptist Church with Bro. Mark Gill and Bro. Danny Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2023, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at Linwood Baptist Church on Thursday from 1:30 p.m. until time of service. Mr. Hamilton, 63, of Pomona Park, FL, died January 20, 2023, at his residence. Born in Madden, MS, he grew up in the Edinburg community and was a former resident of the Linwood Community in Neshoba County. He was a resident of Pomona Park, FL, for the past five years. He retired from Taylor Machine Works in Louisville, MS. He was a member of Church of God of Cleveland, TN, and attended Oak Ridge Church of God while living in Neshoba County. Survivors include wife, Laurie Mason Hamilton; daughters, Tanya Fortenberry (William), Christy Colson (Dustin), Chelsea Mitchell (Drew) and Shanna Hamilton; 10 grandchildren, Kalli Sistrunk (Matthew), Gavin Sistrunk, Michael Fortenberry, Maygan Sistrunk, Bethany Fortenberry, Jillian Miller (Wesley), Hunter Colson, Riley Mitchell, Lucas Mitchell, and Farrah Kaulfers; four great-grandchildren, Ava Horn and Ayden Horn, Emilee and Brantley Miller; sister, Margo Hamilton; brothers, Richard Hamilton, Floyd “Sunshine” Hamilton, Lance Hamilton, Kirby Hamilton, and Jarvis Hamilton; numerous nieces, nephews, and their families. Mr. Hamilton was preceded in death by parents, Richard and Frances Hamilton; and sister, Renee McKinnion.
