Sara Francis Fox

Services for Miss Sara Francis Fox will be held Sunday, May 27, 2018, at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. Nathan Moore officiating.  Burial will follow in Arlington Baptist Cemetery in Neshoba County.  Visitation will be from 12 noon Sunday until service time at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Miss Fox, 83, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at her home. She was a native of Arlington Community of Neshoba County and longtime resident of Philadelphia.  She retired as Assistant Director of Nursing at Neshoba County Nursing Home and formerly worked in various nursing positions at Neshoba General Hospital.  She also had worked as a nurse at the clinic of Dr. R. L. Moore.  Miss Fox was a member of North Bend Pentecostal Church. Survivors include her aunt, Margaret Harrison of Philadelphia; special first cousin, Jane Smith (Glen) of Brandon, their children, Brian Smith (Velda) of DePere, WI, and grandchildren, Madelyn and Malachi; Jason Smith (Kaysey) of Brandon and their children, Valerie Smith and Jackson Smith; beloved friend and caregiver, Cathy Smith of Philadelphia; and a host of first and second cousins. Miss Fox was preceded in death by parents, Newt and Euna Fox; sister, Chris Warren; grandparents, Clay and Stella Salter and John Harvey and Apelonia Elizabeth Fox; and aunt, Ruby Salter. Pallbearers are Brian Smith, Jason Smith, Norman Adcock, Paul Peden, Mark Bozeman and Gary Guthrie. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to North Bend Pentecostal Church Building Fund, or your favorite charity.
