Services for Frances Branning will be held Monday, July 5, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Dr. Dan Howard officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 until time of service. Burial will follow in Ocobla Cemetery in Neshoba County. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was a native of Neshoba County and longtime resident of the Sandtown Community. She retired from Wells-Lamont. Mrs. Branning loved family, gardening, her flowers, and was an avid reader. She was a member of Ocobla Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter, Brenda Carson of Decatur and son, Keith (Carol) Branning of Ridgeland; grandchildren, Jason (Mary Kelly) Branning, Sarah Margaret (Jeremy) Rowan, Chris (Wendy) Carson, Jennifer (Grayson) Timidaiski, and Jeremy Carson; great-grandchildren, Meg, Charlie, Benjamin and Wilson Branning, Spears and Lynlee Rowan, Isabella, Fiona and Willa Carson, Margo and Cannon Timidaiski; sister-in-law, Pat Branning; brother-in-law, Everette Estes; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceding Mrs. Branning in death were husband, M. C. “Mitt” Branning; grandson, Scott Branning; son-in-law, Thomas W. Carson; parents, Martin and Sarah Frances Spears; sisters, Sadie Gray, Eloise Stovall, Mildred Estes; brothers, William Spears, Eldred Spears, and Harold Spears. Pallbearers are Jason Branning, Jeremy Carson, Jeremy Rowan, Grayson Timidaiski, Buck Stovall, Mike Tinsley, Rex Rounsaville and Tyler Rounsaville Honorary pallbearer Chris Carson.
