Ruth Elizabeth Mccoy

Funeral services for Ruth Elizabeth McCoy will be held Friday, October 1, 2021 at 11 am from New Zion Pentecostal Church with Rev. Randall Dunaway officiating. Burial will follow in Henry’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 5 pm until 8 pm at McClain-Hays Chapel. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. McCoy, 69, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Rush Hospital. Ruth lived in Neshoba County most of her life. She graduated from Neshoba Central High School and Meridian Junior College. She devoted her life to taking care of others, as evidence by years of dedicated service as a Certified Nursing Assistant and as an activity director of Senior Care. Her hobbies included spending time with her grandchildren, taking care of her pets, reading books and fishing. Survivors include her mother, Elsie Illene McGee; husband of 45 years, Terrell McCoy, Sr; sons, Terrell McCoy, Jr. and Robert McCoy; brothers, Randy and Ronald McGee; sister, Brenda Collins; grandchildren, Christian Beckham and Devon Johnson. Mrs. McCoy was preceded in death by her father, Audie McGee; sister-in-laws, Kim McGee, Tammy McCoy, Sissy McCoy, Michelle McGee; cousin, Lisa Channell. Pallbearers are Donald McCoy, Luther McCoy, Kent Jorgensen, Michael Collins, Shaine Johnson, Matthew McGee and Dylan Pope. Honorary Pallbearer ,Randy McGee
