Services for Ruth Ellingburg Clark will be held Friday, July 30, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Len Wedgeworth officiating. Burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Clark, 88, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. A native of Neshoba County, she lived in Meridian, MS, for 50 years until her husband, L. D. Clark, retired. She was employed with Lauderdale Safety Council for several years. She loved her flower garden and dearly loved her family. Mrs. Clark was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include daughters, Kathy Brittain (Mike) of McKinney, TX, Karen Humphreys of Lawrence, MS; granddaughter, Brandy Young (Chris) of McKinney, TX; sister-in-law, Martha Ethridge of Meridian, MS; brother-in-law, Robert Moore of Philadelphia; several nieces, nephews, and their families. Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by husband, L. D. Clark; mother, Onnie Gilbert; father, Louis Ellingburg; sisters, Dale Moore and Jean Francis; brother, Harold Ellingburg. Pallbearers are Bobby Moore, Roy Moore, Frankie Moore, Mark Whittle, Josh Garrett, and J. R. Sims.
