Roy Alexander Dumas

Services for Mr. Roy Dumas will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, September 15, 2022 at McClain- Hays Chapel. Rev. Buddy Covington and Rev. Michael Harper will officiate. Interment will be held in Bloomfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at McClain-Hays Funeral Service. Mr. Roy Alexander Dumas, 75, of Walnut Grove, MS passed away at the VA Medical Center in Jackson, MS on September 11, 2022. Mr. Dumas was a native of Lena and lived in MS his whole life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and the racing pigeons. He is survived by his wife of 6 ½ years, Linda and their joined family including Pamela Rushing (Anthony), Anthony Roy Dumas, Cindy Peterson (Chris), Chris Sessums (Trina); 2 step-daughters, Carrie Martin (James) and Tammy Brooks; step-mother, Roslyn Dumas; sister, Amy Annear; brother, Danny Dumas; step-brother, Terry McPhail; 11grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a wife, Sue Dumas; mother, Jimmie Ingram; father, Alexander G. Dumas; 2 brothers, David Dumas and William Rogers; great-grandson, Adain Dumas.
