Services for Ron Hubbard will be held Friday, January 31, 2020, at 12:00 noon from McClain-Hays Chapel with Mark Vincent and Shannon Cooley officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 10:00 a. m. until time of service at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Hubbard, 73, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, January 25, 2020, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. A longtime resident of Neshoba County, he was a longtime Yates Construction employee, and longtime owner of Painters Alley. He was a Vietnam veteran with several medals awarded to him. He loved antiques, singing, and playing guitar, as well as several other instruments. He was very sociable and enjoyed drinking coffee with his friends at Main Street Junction, as well as traveling with his wife. Mr. Ron dearly loved his family. Survivors include his wife, Ann; daughters, Monica Hubbard (Tammy Jo), Wendy Green (Channin); sons, Randy Hubbard (Megan), Justin Hubbard; stepdaughters, Rhonda Shumaker (Jeff), Stephanie Cooley (Shannon); stepson, Joshua Tingle; brothers, Bob Hubbard (Karen), Charles “Pewee” Hubbard (Lisa); 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Hubbard was preceded in death by son, Joshua Cain Hubbard; parents, Marvin and Juanita Hubbard; sister, Brenda Green; brothers, Donald Hubbard, Larry Hubbard and Gregory Hubbard.
