Riley Sistrunk

Graveside service for Riley Wayne Sistrunk will be held Sunday, January 5, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at Lucern Cemetery in Union, MS, with Rev. Tony Roberts officiating.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Sistrunk, 81, of Union, died Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. He was born in the Dixon Community of Neshoba County, raised in the Dover Community, and was a resident of Union, MS, for the past several years.  He was a retired funeral director/embalmer.  Mr. Sistrunk was Pentecostal by faith. Survivors include daughters, Pam Parker (Wayne) of Philadelphia, MS,  Brenda Knapp (Trey) of Flemington, NJ, Rhonda Garner (Michael) of Newellton, LA, and Darlene Blackledge (Jimmy) of Laurel, MS; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.  Mr. Sistrunk was preceded in death by wife, Ellen Geneva Sistrunk; parents, J. V. and Lavinia Sistrunk; and granddaughter, Tiffany Parker.
