Ricky David Lide

Services for Ricky David Lide will be held Monday, July 1, 2019, at 3 p.m. from Corinth Baptist Church in Kemper County with Bro. Allen Gibson and Bro. Matthew Hitt officiating.  Visitation will be held Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 5p.m. until 8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at Corinth Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.  Mr. Lide, 60, died Saturday, June 29, 2019 at his home. He was a native of Kemper County and longtime resident of Damascus Community. He formerly worked for Coil Tubing Company in Oil Exploration and later at the Naval Air Station in Meridian in Ground Support Equipment and at Sam’s in Meridian.  Mr. Lide was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Vicki Lide of Dekalb; dog, Lucy; father, Jim Lide of Hollywood, Fla.; brothers, James (Shea) Lide of Meridian and Paul (Kelley) Lide of West Palm Springs, Fla.  Mr. Lide was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Bouvier. Pallbearers are Michael Sharpston, Caleb Johnson, David Chisolm, Hunter Clay, Hugh Chisolm, Clay Williamson, C. J. Hitt, and Larry Boozer.
