Richard Carl Alexander

  Graveside services for Carl Alexander will be held Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. at Coy Methodist Cemetery with Rev. Gerald Branum officiating.  Visitation will be held Sunday,  April 28, 2019 from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.  at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Mr. Alexander, 83, of Tuscaloosa, Al, died Thursday, April 25, 2019. He was a native of Coy Community of Kemper County. He served in The United States Army and formerly worked for Ford Motor Company in Michigan and later resided in Tuscaloosa, Al, for several  years.  Survivors include, numerous nieces, nephews and their families; brother-in-law, Bobby Holton of Noxapater; sister-in-laws, Shirley Alexander of Macon, Ms, and Lucille Alexander of Columbus, Ms.  Preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Bealie Alexander; sisters, Judy Holton, Connie Cumberland, Oree Bowman and Dora Lee McClurg; brothers, Dewey H. Alexander, Jr., Muldrow Alexander, Arkel Alexander, Lindsey Alexander and Cedell Alexander.
