A memorial service will be held at a later date for Mr. and Mrs. Bane Emily Mary Bane, 76, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Neshoba County Hospital. She was born on December 20, 1944, to Elburn Lee Apperson and Fannie Mae Wilkerson. Richard F. Bane, 80, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021, at University Medical Center. He was born on November 11, 1940, to Walter Lester Bane and Anna Laura Gray. They are survived by their daughters, Brenda Davis (Don) of Naples, Florida, Lisa Boykin of Sebastopol , and Jennifer Richey (Keith) of Tupelo; grandchildren, Jeff Davis (Ashlynn), Jared Davis (Rebecca), and Rusty Boykin (Brandy); great grandchildren, Avery, Elijah, Alexander, and Ella Brooke, Mary’s brothers Ken Apperson (Robin) and Carl Apperson. Richard’s brother Lavern Bane. They are also survived by several nieces and nephews. Richard and Mary became husband and wife on September 17, 1960. They were married 60+ years. They were long time residents of Neshoba County. They owned and ran a dairy farm for many years. Richard was a carpenter for many years also, building custom cabinets and various types of furniture. Until 25 years ago when they became poultry growers. Mary was a homemaker. She also worked right alongside her husband on the dairy farm and then the poultry farm. They both worked hard and cherished their life together. They were both loved greatly as parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and as friends. Mary was preceded her in death by her sisters, Joyce Apperson, Eileen Apperson, and Lynn Ivy, and brother, Roger Apperson, son-in-Law, Gary Boykin. Richard was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Bane, and wife, Emily Mary Bane, son-in-law, Gary Boykin.
