Services for Rev. Paul Leber, Sr., will be held Thursday, November 8, 2018, at 11 a.m. from Spring Creek Baptist Church with Rev.Josh Meadows, Rev. Glen Jackson and Rev. Don Cook officiating.  Burial will follow in Spring Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Thursday from 9:30 a. m. until service time at the church.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Rev. Paul Leber, 98, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at Neshoba General Hospital.  He was a native of Philadelphia, PA.  He pastored for over 56 years serving at various locations, including Maryland, Texas, Canada, South Carolina and Mississippi, where he served at High Hill Baptist Church from 1984-1990, and then served at Oak Grove Baptist from 1990 until his retirement.  He visited the Holy Land in 1955.  He received two seminary degrees from Southwestern Baptist Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.  Rev. Leber was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church.   Survivors include son, Paul Henry Leber, Jr. (Debbie) of Philadelphia; granddaughter, Jackie Jackson (Trent) of Mill Springs, South Carolina; four great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Corey and Ragan Ashmore, and Teagan Jackson; a host of nieces and nephews; and pet dog, Asia. Rev. Leber was preceded in death by his first wife, Sybil Deweese Leber; second wife, Louise Cartledge Leber; daughter, Mary Gaye Hall; two brothers, Philip Leber and wife Bert, and Ben Leber and wife Betty; sister, Ruth Leber Ashlock and husband Charles.  Family requests in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Spring Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, or favorite charity.
