Rebecca Mcadory

Services for Rebecca “Becky” McAdory will be held Monday, November 18, 2019 at 2 p.m. from Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Caudill officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, November 18, 2019 from 12 noon until service time at the church. McClain-Hays is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. McAdory, 79, died Saturday, November 16, 2019, at Regency Hospital in Meridian, Ms. She was a native of Neshoba County. She married her husband of 57 years, Bruce McAdory on August 17, 1962. She worked at the glove factory in Noxapater for several years and later enjoyed working at the polls during the elections.  She was a big supporter of Noxapater football and basketball games where she was known for hollering at the referees about some of their calls.  Mrs. McAdory was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Jackson, MS. Survivors include her husband, Bruce McAdory of Louisville; daughter, Renae McAdory Shaw (Ricky) of Louisville; son, Kevin McAdory of Decatur; five grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; a special aunt that was more like a sister, Gwin Robertson of Ridgeland, MS. Mrs. McAdory was preceded in death by her parents, Aus Farrow and Clio Stokes Sturges.  Pallbearers are Justin McAdory, Ricky Shaw, Robert Eaves, Jerry Thomas, Jim Thomas, Chunky Thomas and Kenny Measell.
