Mr. Thrash was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County.  He was the owner/operator of Shorewood Inn Seafood Restaurant.  Anyone who knew Randy Thrash knew that he was a hard-headed, strong willed man who stood strong in his convictions.  He took pride in his work.  Shorewood was his baby.  He enjoyed knowing that everyone loved his food and would tell you quickly that his food was the best seafood around.  He was a man of his word.  He always knew the answer to everything and was always right!  He loved to have a good time!  He loved his family with all his heart and soul.  He came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior in 2014.  He was one of a kind.  They don’t make them like him anymore.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.  He was a member of Greenland Baptist Church of Union. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Valissa Thrash of Union, son, Christopher Thrash (Wennie) of Union; daughter, Brandy Winstead(Matthew) of Union; 5 grandchildren, Sarah Abbu (Blu), Sophia Thrash,  Jagger Bennett, Emry Winstead and Huntley Winstead; five sisters, Ann Aldridge (Jimmy) and Johnnie Hill (David) both of West Monroe, LA, Clennie Kroplin (Henry), Janice Jimenez (Ed) and Carol Mignerey (Scott) all of IL; and a host of nieces and nephews.
