Private graveside services for Railey “Shorty” Hull will be held from Hope Cemetery with Rev. Owen Gordon officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Hull, 87, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a native of Kemper County and a longtime resident of Neshoba County for most of his life. He worked as an electrician and plumber for Barnett Mechanical and Electrical, Inc., and McLain Plumbing for many years until he retired. Mr. Hull was a member of Hope United Methodist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Burks (Gary) of Philadelphia, Ann Murphy (Gerry) of Canton, Tammy Boyd (Eddie) of Philadelphia; five grandchildren, Chris Murphy, Chris Bounds, Nick Murphy, Dawn Anderson, Ashley Anthony; six great-grandchildren, Ethan Bounds, Lily Murphy, Rowan Murphy, Salem Bounds, Grayson Anthony and Olivia Bounds; and a host of special nieces and nephews and friends. Mr. Hull was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Frances Hull; parents, Sam and Maude Hull; sisters, Bonnie Jo Byrd, Katie Rae Thompson, Marie Hull and Mattie Myers; brothers, Sam J. Hull and Mac Hull. Pallbearers are Chris Murphy, Chris Bounds, Nick Murphy, Eric Anthony, Phil Hull, and Louis McWilliams. Honorary Pallbearer is Keith Adcock.
