Prentiss Austin Sellers

Visitation will be held at Boone Funeral Home, 2156 Airline Drive, Bossier City, LA from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2019.  Local arrangements to be held at McClain-Hays Funeral Home in Philadelphia, MS will be as follows: Services to be held on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with visitation beginning on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Rev. Ronald Jenkins and Rev. Bill Freeman officiating.  Interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Edinburg, MS.  On the night of December 4th, 2019 Prentiss Austin Sellers, loving husband and son was called to heaven at the age of 30.  Austin was born on October 27, 1989 in Meridian, MS to Prentiss Eddie Sellers and Nancy Leticia Bridges. Austin was know for his charming smile, his dashing red curls, his kind compassionate spirit. He was adventurous, diligent at his craft as a diesel shop machinist, kind hearted, and was the best husband any wife could ask for. He is survived by his wife, Bethany M. Sellers of Shreveport LA; father, Eddie Sellers of Philadelphia; mother, Nancy Bridges Brownsville, TX; brothers, Prentiss Andy Sellers (Kasey) and Issac Lucas Sellers both of Philadephia; grandfather, Forrest Bridges (Janice) of Philadelphia; aunt, Cindy Bridges of Madison; father and mother-in-law, Davis W. and Michelle Monk of Walnut Grove; niece, Kayleigh Sellers; nephew, Hayden Sellers; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.                                    Austin was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother, Freddie Bridges; Paternal Grandparents, Wilber and Roma Sellers; aunt, Betty Crane.
