Phillip Wayne Dunaway

A graveside memorial service for Phillip Wayne Dunaway will be held Sunday, March 1, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. from Louisville Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jim Daniel officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Dunaway, 73, of Louisville, died Thursday, February 27, 2020, at Winston Medical Center/Nursing Home. He was a native of Cullman County, Alabama and a resident of Winston County for the past 50 years. Mr. Dunaway served two tours in Vietnam in the U. S. Army. Survivors include three daughters, Jennifer Clark (John) of Noxapater, Jackie Simpson (Randy) of Peterman, AL, and Amy Thomas (Freddy) of Noxapater, MS; grandchildren, Cassie Dunaway, Lexie Thomas, Kelli Thomas, Gracie Simpson; sister, Sarah Roberts of Florida; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Dunaway was preceded in death by daughter, Sarah Catherine Dunaway; parents, Otis and Catherine Dunaway; two sisters; and three brothers.
