Patricia Barton Barnett

Services for Patricia Barton Barnett will be held Friday, June 7, 2019, at 1 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Rick Benson and Bro. Thurman Hodge officiating.  Visitation will be held Friday from 11 a. m. until time of service at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Barnett, 71, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, June 2, 2019, at her home. She was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County and a graduate of Neshoba Central High School.  She was a homemaker for the first part of her adult life and then worked as a CNA at Neshoba County Nursing Home for 24 years until her retirement.  Mrs. Barnett was a member of Philadelphia Church of Christ. Survivors include daughter, April (Scott) Gallaher of Philadelphia, MS; Stacey (Roger) Rives of Joppa, AL; four grandchildren, Grayson and Gavin Boler, Lori Lynn Tucker and Rodge Rives; four great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Sullivan of Philadelphia, MS; fiance', Jerry Edwards of Eupora, MS; best friends, Emma Buckley and Velma Moorehead, both of Philadelphia, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Barnett was preceded in death by husbands, D. L. Barton and Eunice “E. L.” Barnett; son, William Patrick Frazier; and parents, Harry Eakes and Leota Barrett. Pallbearers are Gary Sullivan, Brian Eakes, Rodge Rives, Tony Beckham, Grayson Boler, Gavin Boler, Larry Gallaher, and Allen Barham.
