Funeral services for Pam Phillips will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 2:00 p. m. from First Baptist Church with Dr. Dan Howard and Rev. Evan Humphries officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at the church. Mrs. Phillips, 69, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, December 25, 2022, at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. A native of Union, MS, she graduated from Union High School in 1971, and attended ECCC earning her business certificate. She married in 1971 and she and her husband lived in Eupora for 20 years. They moved to Philadelphia in 1997 and she worked as the education secretary for First Baptist Church until retirement in 2018. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and playing hand bells. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Charley Phillips of Philadelphia; daughters, Angel Fason (Darrell) of Eupora, Kylie Whitehead (Ben) of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Brady Stephenson (Sydney), Hayes Fason, Mason Whitehead, Hardy Fason, Izzy Grace Whitehead; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Jackie Boswell, and sister, Dawn Palmer. Pallbearers are Brady Stephenson, Mason Whitehead, Hayes Fason, Hardy Fason, David Faulkenberry and Joe Wood.
