Otis Guy Gross

Graveside services for Otis Guy Gross (Guy) were held Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 1 p.m. from Cedarlawn Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Skinner officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Gross, 93, of Tuscaloosa, AL died Monday, November 27, 2023. Guy was born and raised in Philadelphia, MS. He graduated from Philadelphia High School and Mississippi State University. Guy also served 4 years in the US Air Force. He was attending Mt. Moriah Methodist Church in Tuscaloosa. Survivors include a brother, Charles Tildon Gross, and one niece and one great-niece, of Greenwood, MS and numerous cousins. The family wishes to thank his caregiver, Ms. Deborah Bush of Tuscaloosa, for the loving care provided during the last 8 years of his life. Mr. Gross was preceded in death by his parents, Audie and Ruby Gross.
