Ollie B Goldman Lacey

Funeral services for Ms. Ollie B Goldman Lacey will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 at 12:00 noon with visitation to begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Rev. Curt Pace and Bro. Eric Sharp to officiate. Interment will be at Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Ms. Lacey, 96, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at her daughter’s home. Ms. Lacey’s life revolved around her family that she loved dearly. She loved her Lord and Savior and her life reflected that. She loved reading her Bible & read it through numerous times. Ms. Lacey was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church where she loved her church family and her pastors. She enjoyed traveling, camping, playing cards and dominos. She is preceded in death by her parents, Oliver Savell, Sr. and Buna Savell; husbands, Harold Goldman and Richard Lacey; brother, Otha Savell; sister, Georgia Bell Chunn; granddaughter, Deshea Ming; and son-in-law, Wayne Callahan. Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Campbell (Kenny) and Rose Callahan; 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Oliver Savell, Jr. (Iva Lou), and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Pallbearers are Scott Fulton, Zach Fulton, Cameron Fulton, Gerald Griffin, Jr., Seth Griffin, and DD Rushing. Honorary pallbearer will be Shane Burks.
