Norman A. (Buddy) Johnson Iii

Services for Norman A. "Buddy" Johnson, III will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon until service time.  Interment will be in Cedarlawn Cemetery.  Dr. Dan Howard will officiate.  Mr. Johnson, 70, of Brandon, died Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon.   He was a native of Philadelphia, Neshoba County.  He was a graduate of Philadelphia High School Class of ’65, attended Gordon Military College, and later University of Southern Mississippi.  He worked as a car salesman in the Jackson Area for a number of years and later N. A. Johnson Realty, Inc. He was an avid Neshoba County Fairgoer.  Mr. Johnson served in the U. S. Air Force in Vietnam.  He was a member of the American Legion and Veterans Of Foreign Wars. Survivors include sister, Amanda Johnson Bass of Louisville, KY; nephew, Noah Aaron Bass of Chicago, IL; first cousin, Ronnie Reynolds and wife Charlotte of Liberty, MS. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by parents, Norman A. Johnson, Jr., and Mary Grace Johnson; and brother-in-law, Brent Bass.
