Jay Nell Nance

Services for Jay Nell Nance will be held Monday, January 28, 2019 at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Randy Clardy officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 5 until 8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.  Ms. Nance 85, died Friday, January 25, 2019. She was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County. She was a retired retail sales clerk.  Ms. Nance was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Vickey (Dennis ) Nance of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Chance (Mary) Nance of Philadelphia, Angela Tennyson of Louisville, Lee (Tanya) Bradshaw of Union; great-grandchildren, Rodney Nance, David Tennyson, Devon Tennyson, Alton Edwards, Hunter Edwards, Josh Bowman, Aaron Sullivan, Bree Thompson, Jay Bradshaw, and Ayden  Bradshaw; two great –great-grandchildren, Liam and Jacee Bowman. Preceded in death by her husband, Royce Nance; Parents, Walter Lee, Sr. and Ida Mae White; brothers, Oden White, Clarence White, Leeman White, Claude White and Walter Lee White, Jr.; sisters, Sarah Ragsdale and Jessie Lee Jones; grandson, David Ferguson.
