Services for Nancy Elizabeth “Liz” Parker Perry will be held Saturday, November 28, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Rusty Walton and Rev. Lin Chesney officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Creek Cemetery in Neshoba County. Visitation will be held Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born in Kemper County and lived most of her life in Neshoba County. She worked at Garan Manufacturing for a number of years, and then at U.S. Motors until she retired. After retirement she enjoyed crafting, cooking, flower gardening, and spending time with all her family. Mrs. Perry was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in the House Community of Neshoba County. Survivors include daughter, Nancy Parker (Dale) Waters of Brandon; son, George C. (Jana) Parker of Carthage; grandchildren, Shea (Scott) Hodges, Leslie (Jarrod) Taylor, Lisa (Jonathan) Jones, Joseph (Mallory) Parker, Jacob (Rebecca) Parker, Will (Maggie) Waters; 12 great-grandchildren; two step-daughters, Carolyn Moore of Georgia and Dawn Kennedy of Brookhaven; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Helen Jones of Meridian and Bobbie Jones of Philadelphia; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph “Joe” Wheeler Parker, second husband, William D. “Dub” Perry; daughter, Barbara Parker Nelson; sisters, Audie Kirkland and Irene Williamson Cauley; brothers, Coleman, H.D. and Leroy Jones; parents, George and Ollie Jones.
