Services for Miriam Marshall Hardy will be held Thursday, February 7, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel.  Burial will follow in Cedarlawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Thursday from 11:30 a. m. until service time.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Mrs. Hardy, 89, of Philadelphia, died Monday, February 4, 2019, at Neshoba County General Hospital. She was a longtime resident of Neshoba County and a native of the Longdale Community.   Mrs. Hardy attended Ocobla Baptist Church.  Survivors include daughters, Tricia Whitaker (John) of Hattiesburg and Sherry Wilson (Earl) of Madden; sons, Larry Hardy (Claire) of Oxford and Tony Hardy (Valarie) of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Brad Whitaker (Melanie), Johnna Price (Adam), Heather Sturdivant (David), Guy Wilson (Traci), Kelli Phelps (Dudley), Kyle Hardy (Taylor), Kathryn Nance (Kenny), Jess Hardy (Renae), Tyler Hardy (Jessie); several great-grandchildren; sisters, Lora Smith of Kemper and Freddie Barnett of Newton; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families.   Mrs. Hardy was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Hardy; granddaughter, Monica Hardy; and several brothers and sisters. Pallbearers are Brad Whitaker, Kyle Hardy, Guy Wilson, Jess Hardy, Tyler Hardy, David Sturdivant, Dudley Phelps, Adam Price and Kenny Nance.  Honorary pallbearers are Earl Marshall, Wendell Marshall, Jimmie Marshall, R B Marshall, Robert Smith, Marshall Smith, Ted Marshall, Aaron Barnett and Billy Barnett. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
